Student vision screenings will take place at Hockinson Heights Elementary School on November 2-3, followed by hearing screenings on November 16-17.

Vision and hearing screenings help support student health and learning. Sometimes, children may not realize they are having difficulty seeing or hearing. These challenges can go unnoticed and may affect reading, concentration and communication. Regular screenings help identify potential concerns early so families can seek further evaluation and support when needed.

These quick, simple screenings are an important part of supporting the health and well-being of our students. While screenings do not replace a comprehensive eye or hearing exam, they be a helpful step to support healthy eyes and ears!
