Runners from Hockinson Heights Elementary, Hockinson Middle School and Hockinson High School came together at Hockinson Meadows Park on Oct. 7 for a cross country meet that connected students across all three schools.
The event drew 570 participants: 30 elementary students, 325 middle school runners from 10 area schools and 165 high school runners. Hockinson High School competed against Columbia River, Ridgefield and R. A. Long in the high school competition.
The meet offered a chance for Hockinson students of all ages to share the same event.
