From favorite subjects to most treasured memories, Mavis gives us a peek into what makes her 1st-grade experience at Hockinson Heights Elementary School so impactful. See what she had to say below:
What is your favorite subject in school right now?
I love music because we get to play instruments and it's so fun. I also like reading because we read fun books!
What do you look forward to most at school?
I look forward to making friends. I have a lot of friends that I get to play with.
What's your favorite after-school activity?
I like picking my sister up and going to our Grandma's house. Next year she will be in Kindergarten at school with me!
What has been your favorite school activity so far? Any field trip, club, or event that was extra special?
Having reading buddies with Mrs. Crawshaw's 4th grade class. I have two 4th grade buddies that I get to read with.
Have you thought about any plans for the future?
I would like to be either a chef or veterinarian. My favorite food is steak, and I love cats and dogs and would like to help animals feel better if they were sick.
