Last month, the 5th-grade Beginning Band at Hockinson Heights Elementary School got an up-close performance from the Hockinson High School Marching Band. By sitting in on the high school class, 5th-graders got a glimpse into what continued involvement in music can look like in the years ahead. HHS musicians brought plenty of energy with fun tunes and choreography, even inviting the 5th graders to join in on a few moves. Opportunities like this highlight the strong connections within the Hockinson School District's music program and give students something to look forward to as they grow.
