HHES Families: This week, we will have visitors from the Clark County Sheriff's department and Fire District 3 on campus on Wednesday and Thursday. The Police Activities League will be visiting our second grade classes on Wednesday to deliver books and give students a tour of police vehicles. Fire District 3 will be visiting our Kindergarten classes on Thursday to discuss how paramedics and firefighters help our community.

HHES is excited to share that this year we will be hosting a series of parent nights. The goal of these sessions is to continue to build on the strong partnership that our school has with our families, provide education on a variety of relevant and timely topics, and seek out feedback on how we can best support our students here at school. We hope that you mark your calendars and are able to attend.

At each of these parent nights HHES will be offering a light dinner for families in attendance and childcare will be available.
Our first parent night will be on Thursday, November 5th.

We would like to extend a personal invitation to the upcoming 2026 Hockinson Tour of Schools which will be held on October 21st. This is a great opportunity to get to know all of the Hockinson schools better, hear from staff and administration about our plans for supporting students, and ask questions about our schools and district. If you are the parent of a 4th or 5th grader we also highly encourage your participation as you will get a chance to visit HMS and HHS where you can receive information and ask questions about your students upcoming transition to middle school. The Hockinson School District is extending an invitation to our community to take a look inside its schools as part of “Hockinson's 2026 Tour of Schools” on Wednesday, October 21.

Participants will not only get better acquainted with each school’s goals and facilities, they will also meet members of the HSD School Board and Superintendent. HHES Families: This week, we have continued to focus on demonstrating kindness at HHES. We have awarded Golden Ducks of Kindness to several students for their acts of kindness on out school campus.
