Tips for Completing Your Online Application using Fast Track
Welcome to Fast Track, Hockinson’s online job application system! Beginning May 1, 2014 we are posting open positions and accepting applications online.
Internal Applicants: Internal applicants will login to Fast Track through the Employee Access module. Login to Skyward, click on Employee Access, click on Fast Track tab and register. This is the only way you will see “internal only” postings.
External Applicants: External applicants will click on the link provided below "Current Job Openings". Select the position(s) you wish to apply for and click on "Apply for Selected Position(s)".Hockinson substitutes, coaches, community education employees and current staff on non-continuing basis are considered external for the purposes of applying for open positions.
Register: All applicants, Internal and External, will need to create a profile in Fast Track the first time they use the system. Please use the “New Users Please Create a Profile” section of the login screen the first time you apply for a position in Fast Track. Be sure to save your login and password! If you do forget your username and/or password, click “Forgot your username/password?” below the login button and your username and password will automatically be sent to the e-mail address you used during registration. We advise internal applicants to use a personal email account for Fast Track purposes.
Begin Your Application: Each posted position will have required sections to complete before you can submit your application. The sections can be completed in any order. Each section (except Comments) contains a checkbox indicating you have entered the information to the best of your abilities (or you have uploaded all required attachments.) Checking the checkbox will also change the status of the corresponding section to ‘Completed’. If you need to make changes to any section, please use the ‘Edit’ button in that section. Many sections of the application will require you to submit information. The section will remain as ‘Incomplete’ until all requirements are met. All information submitted will be retained in the system. Should you decide to apply to a second posting you will not be required to re-do the whole application, however, we encourage you to review the information.The final section, Comments, is an optional section where you may leave comments regarding your application for particular position. A check box can be selected to apply the comment only to that specific application. When no sections are marked ‘Incomplete’, you may submit your application with the “Submit to HR” button at the upper right of the application dashboard. After submitting your application you will receive an automated message verifying you have successfully applied. That’s it!!If you are using a public computer, be sure to log out of your profile. Check back often to see new vacancy postings, and please be sure to keep your contact information updated so we can contact you if you are selected for an interview.
