Hockinson School District invites community input as it embarks on a search for the district's next superintendent.
On Monday, Jan. 14, the search firm Northwest Leadership Associates will meet in focus groups with district staff and facilitate a community forum at 7 p.m. in the High School Commons.
The goal is to identify characteristics the community desires in Hockinson's next superintendent. This input is essential to finding the most suitable superintendent for HSD.
Community members unable to attend the forum are encouraged to complete an online survey by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15.
The district’s Board of Directors selected Northwest Leadership Associates to conduct the search, with Glenys Hill and Roger Rada facilitating.
Sandra Yager, who has served as superintendent for eight years, will leave the district at the end of the school year.
Updates on the search will be posted on the district website.
