Smiles all around! A Hockinson family tradition returns after a two year hiatus.
The annual Fun Days celebration will return to Hockinson on June 3 and 4, 2022. Organizer Julie Atchley is excited to see the Hockinson community gather once again and make Fun Days...well, fun for everyone.
This year's theme "Hometown Pride" reflects the community spirit that was hampered during the pandemic, but what Atchley expects will be on full display at Fun Days events. "Fun Days creates a lot of energy and joy every year, but I think this year's event is going to be especially spirited. People are ready to reconnect," said Atchley. HSD Superintendent Steve Marshall agrees: "I am so happy to move past the challenges of the past two years and have experiences like this that bring us together. I don't think I am alone in feeling that way."

There is a full slate of activities scheduled for Saturday, June 4:
7-11:30 am Pancake Breakfast at Fire District 3
9 am - 3:30 pm Vendors at HSD District Office Turnabout
Noon Fun Days Parade
10 am - Noon & 1 - 3:30 pm Country Fair Carnival at Community Center Parking Lot

Atchley invites all Hockinson families to join the fun. "Like our slogan says, 'It is time to come together again as one community' and make some memories," she said.
