With snowy weather in the forecast, we wanted to share with your some information about plans for inclement weather.
Late Start: If a late start is announced by the school district, AM classes will not attend in-person learning on that day. At 10 AM, morning classes will have a class Zoom with their teacher and get assignments for the day. PM classes will continue as scheduled. Remote and HVA classes will operate on their regular schedule, even on late start days. Specialist Zooms (art, music, and PE) will continue on their regular schedule, even on late start days.
Snow Days: If the district announces a snow day, we will not have classes in person or remotely. The HSD is prepared to cancel school on two days and extend the end of the school year through June 18 before shifting to a remote learning model on additional inclement weather days.
