In an effort to support your students during this period of school closure, we want to provide you with resources that you can use to keep your child engaged in learning. We would like to encourage all families to devote part of each day to learning. A letter with your child's log-in information was sent home with your child on Friday. If you child was absent, our staff is working today (3/16) to email the document home to you.
While at home, your child has online access to iReady curriculum in both reading and mathematics. This instruction is at your child’s instructional level based on their last iReady scores. Students in grades 1-5 will also have access to the Wonders curriculum that teachers use for English Language Arts teaching. Your child’s teacher may add assignments for your child in the online portal. Daily reading is a wonderful way to help your student bolster their reading skills. Your student can access e-books through the Fort Vancouver Regional Library, Capstone Library, or EPIC. (see links below).
We realize that not all families have internet access and would be happy to provide families with printed resources. If your family needs help accessing the online resources, please give us a call at 360-448-6430.
